  This is everything you want in a local coffee shop.
  
  First, of course, the basic brew is solid and consistent. I think their iced coffee is pretty good, and though I'm not a fan of tea I appreciate the large selection. I have yet to try the espresso docks but that's really not my thing anyway. More important for me, the comes off sweets is the best around for any cafe, trust me. Cookies and probably other items are from the very popular local chain Martha's Country Bakery.
  
  I have always had friendly service at the counter. Again I've never needed a fancy drink made for me, but I'm totally happy with the person-to-person.
  
  Lovely layout and furniture. Perfect level of some customers but with space always available. Varied seating options, from areas near the large sunny south-facing window to smaller areas farther away, high stools and chairs.
  
  Pickup a drink and a cookie and have a walk to Forest Park just a block away!
