  The worst airline!!!!
  I am very disappointed and displeased with not only the customer service but the lack of communication from Fly Jamaica. I arrived at the airport this morning (3/11/18) and upon checking in I found out that my flight was cancelled. I was assisted by Allison Rodney (Fly Jamaica employee) and I asked why wasn’t I notified of the cancellation by email or by phone prior. She had no explanation. I asked when was she notified of the cancellation, she said at 5am. I receive no email or phone notification and was at the counter at 10:20 a.m. I asked what other options were there and she said that there was a connecting flight in George Town that would get me to Kingston, Jamaica the next day. I asked for my refund which she placed into the system. I asked for some print out or documentation of the cancellation for my reference and she was unable to provide it. I’ve never flown with Fly Jamaica before but I heard horrible experiences from my colleagues. I decided to support my own and give Fly Jamaica a chance but this has concluded that all the horrible experiences are valid. Experiencing this kind of inconvenience is beyond upsetting because of the added unprofessionalism. No one apologized at the Fly Jamaica counter for this flight being cancelled and I can only imagine how other customers felt. I will never book, Fly or recommend this airline to anyone. I will also be sharing my experience with everyone I know, to save them from this type of headache and frustration that I experienced. I spoke with a phone representative named Yuland and confirmed my cancellation and again I asked for a email to confirm my cancellation or refund went through and she blamed the initial person at the Fly Jamaica counter for not putting it into the system. Again, unprofessionalism at its best! I gave her my email and she mentioned that she would try to send it but it was no guarantee. I asked when would I receive my refund and was told 6-8 weeks. I was told by the initial representative at the counter it should take up to 2 weeks. I asked if I could speak to someone else to confirm this information and she told me to call back tomorrow Monday at 9am to speak with someone in accounting. What kind of business or airline are these people running?? I’ve tracked on Jetblue and have been delayed and received my refund in less than 5 days! I’ll never book with this airline again. This airline staff clearly doesn’t respect or appreciate their customers or their jobs. Without your customers you will not exist- we are your most valuble asset!
